The journey of Papa Cooks began in 2018, inspired by a simple, heartfelt phrase from my wife to our child: “Papa cooks our food. “This endearing sentiment sparked a desire to share the rich flavours of Filipino cuisine with the world. Initially, I ventured into the culinary business by crafting gourmet tuyo, a popular delicacy back home. Sharing samples with friends and colleagues, I honed my recipes, gaining valuable feedback and a loyal following.
As I reminisced about the authentic street food of the Philippines, particularly the smoky aroma of charcoal-grilled BBQ, I realized the potential to blend tradition with my passion. Thus, Papa Cooks expanded its menu to include a variety of Filipino dishes, each telling a story of home and heritage. Our offerings are prepared with the same love and dedication that began in our family kitchen.
